Patrick Anthony: A Journey in Soul & Story

Patrick Anthony is an Indigenous Canadian singer-songwriter based in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley, crafting a sound as authentic as the journey that shaped him. Raised in a home where the stereo played everything under the sun, Anthony’s influences span Classic Rock, Grunge, Americana, Alt-Country, and his Leq'a:mel First Nations roots. His music is a rich tapestry of storytelling, steeped in the soul of his heritage.

Early memories of singing Ritchie Valens into anything that resembled a microphone were the first signs that performing wasn’t just a dream—it was inevitable. After picking up a guitar at 15, Anthony spent decades honing his voice at late-night open mics and coffee house gigs, slowly finding his purpose through a commitment to the craft.

Now, that solitary journey has evolved into a powerful collective. Fronting his newly formed band, Patrick Anthony and The 147, he has transitioned from a thoughtful solo writer into a dynamic, fearless bandleader. This new chapter brings a fuller, more electric energy to his raw and reflective songs of growth, love, and everyday struggle.

The band is currently preparing for their most significant milestone yet: the release of their debut full-length album, set to arrive in Spring 2026. Whether he’s igniting a room with the full force of The 147 or sharing quiet, intimate moments through his lyrics, Patrick’s music invites you in—and keeps you listening.
